Sarah Jane Facemyer Oldham, 78, of Cottageville, WV formerly of Charleston, WV passed away April 18, 2011 at home in the care of her loving family. Sarah was a kind and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother with 7 children, 20 grandchildren, and 29 great grandchildren. Sarah was a very warm and outgoing lady whom, as it is said, had never met a stranger. Sarah had many lifelong friends and “children� who often called her Momma or Miss Sarah. She loved them all as if they were her own. Sarah was born November 4, 1932 to Walter Owen Facemyer and Dora Lee Scott Facemyer. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Thomas Clyde Oldham. Her sons Robert Lee Facemyer and Earl Paul Oldham. Her daughter Mildred Oldham Brown granddaughter Rachel Slater and great grandson Noah Whitmire. All of her brothers and sisters preceded her. They were Ray, Robert, and Josephine Cantrell, Johnny Lee Myers, George Myers, Walter Myers, Holly Myers, Molly Myers, Lula May Myers, Mamie Katherine Myers Holly, and Thomas Facemyer. She is survived by her children, Charles (Terri) Oldham of King, NC, Julia (David) Harris of Cottageville, WV, Thomas Edward Oldham of Charleston, WV, Terri (Jeffrey) Gunnoe of Charleston, WV, daughter-by-heart, Pauletta Williams, 19 grandchildren, and 28 great grandchildren. The family would like to give special thanks to Doctor Snyder and his staff. To Loved Ones Care, Hospice, and to her hospice nurse, Deanna Berry. Memorial Service will be 1:00 PM April 21, 2011 at Spradling Gospel Tabernacle, Bakers Fork with David Morrison officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until service time.
