of Tewksbury

TEWKSBURY -- Sarah Juliette Seeker-Dimier, 6, of Tewksbury, MA, passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2010, at Children's Hospital in Boston, MA, after a long battle with a congenital illness.

Born in Savannah, GA on April 1, 2004, she was the daughter of Martha "Jane" Seeker of Tewksbury and Hadrien Dimier of Georgia.

Besides her parents, she is survived by her step father, Brandon Newhouse, and her brother, Christian Newhouse, both of Tewksbury; her aunt, Rachel Seeker; her great aunt and uncle, Debbie and Bruce Trumbull of Littleton, MA; and many relatives and friends.

Sarah was a happy six year old that was born with septo-optic dysplasia. This illness caused her to be blind, unable to walk, crawl or do most things that children do. It did not however, stop her from smiling and laughing as often as possible. Her happiness was inspiring as it was despite all she faced day to day. She taught us so much though only with us for such a short time.

SEEKER-DIMIER -- Sarah J. Seeker-Dimier, of Tewksbury, died December 21, 2010. Visiting hours Monday 4 and 7 p.m with services at 7 p.m. in the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX ST., CHELMSFORD, MA. Cremation at Merrimack Crematory. For those that wish, Memorials may be made in her name to "The Professional Care Center of Child Development", 32 Osgood St., Andover, MA 01810. This is the special needs children school that Sarah attended. We would like to be able to help other special needs children be able to receive the same wonderful care and therapy she received.
