Sarah Spence-Godin Obituary
Two Celebrations of her Life will be held. One at 11:00AM on July 13th, 2019 at Appleford Estate 770 Mt. Moro Road Villanova, PA 19085 and one in Quebec on August 10th, 2019 at an Eastern Township location to be communicated.
Our Sarah was born in Montreal on September 1st, 1988 to Connie Spence and Gilbert Godin. Sarah grew up in Montreal, Canada, Paris, France, and on the Main Line in Philadelphia, USA. She studied and earned her bachelor degree in Miami and lived her adult life in Florida and Washington DC, making long lasting friendships along the way. She had a hugely endearing personality and a big spirit that touched many souls.
Sarah is survived by her mother, Connie Spence; father, Gilbert Godin; sister, Catherine; brother, Mathieu; stepmother, Eleanor Godin; stepfather, Chuck Craven; stepsister, Kate Morsbach; sister in-law Nathalie Godin; Grandmothers, Françoise Deslauriers and Dorothy Thomson and husband Richard Myers; Grandfather, Raymond Spence; her soul mate Brenden Hart; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation at JDRF.com

Je suis si triste d'apprendre aujourd'hui le départ de Sarah. Mon plus beau souvenir restera notre duo chanté en deuxième secondaire devant plus de 200 personnes: I don't want to miss a thing. Quel courage elle a eu de prendre cette initiative et de le faire, j'ai toujours été impressionné!
Sarah, je garde de très bons souvenirs de toi. Je t'ai toujours perçu comme une personne vraie, fondamentalement gentille et attentionnée et soucieuse des gens qui t'entourent. Depuis ton départ de Montréal, je suivais ton évolution de loin, toujours heureux d'avoir de tes nouvelles. On ne s'attend jamais à perdre une personne aussi tôt. C'est une leçon pour tous de profiter de la vie et des moments que nous avons avec les gens qu'on aime.

We just heard about Sarah today. Sarah would come in to Cod And Capers market and buy fresh seafood. She was an oyster lover and was always eager to try something new. We all loved her , A wonderful smile with such a glowing presence. We really enjoyed talking to her and looked forward to her next visit. We can't imagine the great loss her family feels, but we wanted you to know that her family here at Cod And Capers was devastated to hear the news.

No words can describe the pain I feel.My heart is broken since I heard you left us . We did not get to spend a lot of time together but I always felt I knew you from years. You are one of the most beautiful souls I ever met. Full of joy. Always supportive. Your spirit, your smile, your kindness, and big heart touched my life. Nous connaissions Sarah davantage par les nouvelles que nous donnaient son grand-père qui l'adorait et par Connie lors de ses visites au Lac. Des propos toujours remplis de fierté et d'amour et de sollicitude maternelle. C'était l'une des nôtres. Une des branches de notre famille qui fleurissait et rayonnait au Sud. Je ne peux imaginer la brûlure qui vous arrive. Sa présence continuera dans notre mémoire pour toujours et je vous souhaite sincèrement que cela apaisera le vide qu'elle laisse. Having known Sarah and working with her for such a short time, she made such an immediate impact on me and many many other team members at Jupiter Medical Center. She was always smiling, embraced her new role with excitement, was diligent in her work, and a special person with the gift to really light up a room!
We are devastated by her loss and wish her family our sincerest sympathies.

I met Sara through my daughter, Joanne Miller, who loved her, dearly. Sara visited in my home in Jupiter and we interacted at a hospital function. I fell in love with her big heart, her deep soul and infectious smile. She left a lasting impression on all who were fortunate enough to know her. Sara will be missed and in our hearts forever.
