Sarah Tafler

TAFLER, Sarah (nee Shetzer) of Montreal, Quebec, Kfar Menahem, Israel and Victoria, BC. Peacefully, on December 22, 2010 at age 94. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Abe Tafler. Devoted and loving mother and mother-in-law of Sid and Jen of Victoria, of Gitta and Jeff of Toronto, of the late David and of Susan of Toronto. Grandmother of Jason and Afshan Tafler, Jonathan and Michelle Tafler, Matthew Wyndowe and Jessica Wyndowe. Great-grandmother of Aydan and Charlotte Tafler. Predeceased by her brothers Al and Sam. Adored sister-in-law of Mary Kantor (the late Max and Sam), Helen Fleming (the late Abe), the late Louis Tafler (the late Frances), the late Bea Socaransky (the late Abe), the late Moe Tafler (the late Dorothy), Henrietta Shetzer and the late Betty Shetzer. Dear aunt to many nieces and nephews. Known and loved by all as a woman of warmth, courage and tenderness. Special thanks to the caring staff at Beacon Hill Villa and to Sarah Thoms, her caregiver.
