Sarah was a friend to whoever crossed her path. Her tender heart, infectious laugh and smile made those around her feel special and loved. Sarah was a pediatric physical therapist and had such a gift with children. She helped so many have a better quality of life. Not only did she help her children, she was a great resource for their families. She was an amazing, thoughtful daughter and sister - the bond between her and her family was extremely special. She was the fiancé to Tayler whom she loved dearly. They made each other laugh and the love between them was unshakeable. She is survived by her parents, Dave and Monica Villar, her brothers, Bryan and Brandon Villar, and her fiancé, Tayler Schmitt.

Sarah, you will be missed. In the short amount of time I’ve known you, I’m confident that your interactions and treatments with each child you’ve worked with were soundly guided by their well-being at the forefront. The ability to elicit smiles, laughter, and positivity flourished from within you. Thanks for all that you’ve done the kids. Many thoughts and prayers for you, your family, friends, and those who have been blessed to know you.

I was fortunate enough to meet Sarah virtually through my Zoom calls with my nephew, Tayler. I could not help but notice how very much in love they were. Sarah was, is, and always will be, loved and cherished and her spirit eternal.

Sarah was my sons PT. We saw her on a weekly basis and she was a wonderful light in our life. She is the reason for many of Ali’s improvements and the impact she made on his life is something I cannot put into words. She was always patient, spoke so kindly, and provided a shoulder for me to lean on often without ever any judgment. We were so blessed and lucky to have known her. I’m so sorry for your loss and for the loss of Sarah’s light in this world. She will never be forgotten by us.

Dave and Monica,
We cannot stop thinking about what has happened to Sarah and to your family. Our daughters are the same age. Our daughters are friends. Our daughter played softball together for years. This has hit home very closely and we are overwhelmingly sadden by Sarah's passing. We are truly very sorry for your family, for Taylor, and for Sarah's patients and friends. Heaven gained an angel. We are better humans for knowing Sarah. You both did an incredible job raising your kids. Sarah was exceptional. Rest peacefully, Sarah.

Dear Dave and Monica, from the moment we heard of Sarah's death you and the family have been in our thoughts constantly. We have fond memories of Sarah playing travel softball with Kylie and during their high school years. We remember Sarah was a competitive player and a darn good pitcher. Sometimes there are no words that can reveal the feelings of the heart, but please accept our deepest thoughts of you and your family during this most difficult time.
