Sarah Walker Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Mar. 8 to Mar. 18, 2021.
Sarah Walker, 36
Crestwood
On Friday, March 5, 2021, Sarah Walker, beloved wife and mother of six children, entered Eternity at the age of 36.
Sarah was born April 17, 1984 in Louisville KY to Tom and Carmen (Bergman) Pigram.
On June 25, 2003 she married her high school sweetheart, Justin Walker. They adopted their
daughters, Rebekah and Jennifer, at the tender age of 20. By the time they were 27, Sarah and
Justin had welcomed four more children, Elijah, Jeremiah, Titus and Phoebe. In 2007 they
followed the Lord's calling and planted a new church, Salt and Light Baptist.
Sarah devoted her days to ministry and homeschooling her children. She had a passion for missions and sharing Christ's love. She enjoyed exercising and running. Sarah was a role model to not only her siblings but many who knew and loved her. She was an encouragement to all she met.
Sarah is survived by her husband, Justin; her six children, Rebekah, Jennifer, Elijah, Jeremiah,
Titus and Phoebe; her parents, Tom and Carmen Pigram; her siblings, Heather Pigram, Justin(Brionna) Pigram and children and Ashley (Joey) Wilheim.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday March 10, 2021 from 4 to 6 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life at 6 p.m. at Salt and Light Baptist Church. Flowers or donations may be sent to Salt and Light Baptist, 4901 KY South 53, Crestwood, KY 40014.

This is a sweet message from one Christian sister to another... I never knew you, but I can see the joy and the love of Jesus in your face... someday we shall meet in Heaven and we will have an eternity to glorify our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ....
Sincerely, Gabrielle De La Cruz

Sarah was precious beyond all, such a kind and loving wife, mother and also to all those she came in contract with.
My heart goes out to all of her family and friends. Great memories of she and her mom and dad and family during our years together at Ballardsville

I only met Sarah a couple of times, but they were very memorable.

My husband Ben, myself, and my sons Sam and Jake would like to offer our deepest sympathies to the Walker family. She will definitely be missed.

Sarah was my sweet childhood friend. Although we lost contact as we got older we were able to reconnect a few years ago and celebrate how the Lord had worked in her life. It was such a joy to hear how he was bringing her back to minister in the same church building where we started our friendship. I remember Sarah’s kind heart and loving spirit. Her joyous laughter. She was such a special person...the impact of her friendship is still with me. I am heartbroken for the family and send deepest condolences, asking that the Lord’s mercies cover you as you grieve.

Sarah was a great mother and an even better example of Christ’s love with those she interacted with. She was part of the backbone of Salt and Light church and did so much to help those in the community there. I have many fun memories of Sarah & Justin showing that competitive spirit in the games I enjoyed playing with them. When I close my eyes and think of Sarah, it’s always a vision of her laugh & smile. She always greeted everyone with a kind & contagious smile. Much love goes out to you Justin, the kids, Heather, Ashley, Justin, Tom and Carmen.

From the moments I met and baptized Sarah, I knew she was special and loved The Lord and others as a result....... May we continue her legacy!
