TABAKIAN, Sarkis. It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Sarkis Tabakian on October 23, 2007. He was the loving husband of Seta and the adoring father of Nanor. A kind and generous person, he will be fondly remembered and much missed by all those whose lives he touched. The family wishes to express its deep gratitude to Dr. Armen Aprikian of the Montreal General Hospital, Dr. M. Romano of Mount Sinai Hospital, and nurses Judith Marchessault and Carole Beluse for their exceptional kindness and compassion during this difficult period. Family will receive condolences on Thursday, October 25, 2007 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Mount Royal Funeral Complex, 1297 Chemin de la Foret, Outremont, Quebec, H2V 2P9 (514)279-6540. Funeral service will be held at the Sourp Hagop Church, 3401 Olivier-Asselin, Montreal, Quebec on Friday, October 26, 2007 at 11 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Montreal General Hospital Foundation (for prostate cancer research) or to the CAMAM Armenian Fund.
