I am heartbroken to learn of Saskia´s passing. We were roommates at William Smith. She served me pancakes with chocolate sauce for breakfast in bed. I tried to decipher her diary, but it was difficult because it was in German. I remember one passage that I was able to translate: Susan is sneaking out to see her boyfriend. That was true. When I read her obituary, I experienced all of the things that her friends and family experienced. Love and laughter and generosity, and clearly capable of achieving anything. Knowing that she did that and more is very moving. And I can completely picture her celebrating with friends and family around a big table. That was definitely Saskia. I wish we had stayed in touch. If anyone in her family would like to hear more stories about my time with her, please contact me. Susan Scott 425-922-0120.

Sad to read this obituary 5 years after Saskia's passing. She was a Diamond in the Rough at UNMC in Omaha, where I 1st met her in Gross Anatomy Lab. As a most dedicated, caring, concerned, conscientious, & serious student of Medicine, she is sorely missed by her Pediatric Radiology Friends & Colleagues.

I was deeply saddened to discover Saskia's obituary. I knew her when very young. She was one of my mother's piano students, in the 1950s in the village of Nassau, Rensselaer County, N.Y. My mother was quite fond of her.

I happened to find this obituary, with immense sadness. I fondly remember Saskia when she took piano lessons from my mother, a piano teacher, in Nassau, Rensselaer County, N.Y., during the 1950s.

Dear Warren and Family
Please accept our sincerest sympathy.
Saskia and I enjoyed our "gals luncheon"
outings at SDYC. Her beauty and brilliance
will be missed by many. God Bless Saskia.

Saskia was a most wonderful friend to my wife, Leslie Frazee. Leslie was diagnosed with Alzheimer's 13 years ago and found a most special walking pal when she and Saskia met on one of their long, slow walks on Silvergate. Many times Saskia would come over to our home and they would sit down on our porch outside and enjoy each others company for long periods of time. Leslie is still with us but not able to communicate but I will tell her that her wonderful friend Saskia is now in a beautiful place sharing her smiles and love with all of her new friends. Saskia and Leslie will forever remain great pals. Our prayers are with her and all of her family. Much Love, Leslie and Nick Frazee
