We didn't hear about Sonny's passing until recently and were very shocked to find out. Sonny was a very kind hearted and funny person, he will be missed deeply. We wish his family strength and courage during this difficult time.

The Frick Family is is shocked to hear the loss of your beloved Sonny. We knew Sonny from when our son Michael and him started Kindergarten right thru to graduation at Burnaby South. He ALWAYS had such a beautiful smile which we have always held in our memories and hearts. Though we have moved from the coast we have often talked about the fun times that were shared with the people that stood out in our lives, and your Sonny was surely one. May love, time and memories help with healing your broken heart. Our memory of a smiling Sonny will live on in our hearts, we are thankful that we had the pleasure of knowing this special ANGEL! Again so deeply sorry for your loss.

My thoughts are with his family in this difficult time. Sonny was a great neighbor and always had an interest in your life. His energy and strength were apparent in all he did.
He will be sorely missed.

I was shocked and saddened to hear the passing of sonny. I was a couple of years younger than sonny, but I remember him as clear as day. He was the nicest guy around. I also went to Burnaby South secondary and recall playing basketball with Sonny. My heart goes out to his family and friends, he truly was a special person.
