Saul Rivera Sr.

Saul Rivera Sr. age 85 of Lake Station,In passed away June 21,2024. He was born on May 2nd 1939 and was blessed to celebrate 85 years of life in this world. He was the seventh of twelve children born to Regino and Placida and was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. His siblings are Regino Jr., Ana Louisa, Francisco, Rosa, Dionisio, Israel, Maria, Noel, Antonia, Agustina, and Maria Louisa.Saul joined the Army in 1959 and was stationed in Texas. After completing his time with the Army, Saul then decided to relocate to Chicago. In 1965, Saul married his wife Cecilia and they were married for 59 years. He is cherished and remembered by their four children Saul Jr. (Sanya), Noel, Mary (Santos), and Lissie (Mark). Saul retired after 30 years from the United States Postal Service. After his retirement, they decided to relocate to Lake Station, Indiana. He gave his life to Christ and became a member of Latin Pentecostal Church of God.Saul and Cecilia were blessed with 15 grandchildren. They are:Donna, Edward, Adrian, Cecilia, Priscilla, Christina, Jellicia, Jacqueline, Julian, Aurora, Jocelyn, Saul III, Jason, Enrique and Santos III our little Angel.They also had many Great Grandchildren. They are:Lailani, Javion, Christian, Aiden, Lilliana, Joella, Avery, Jeremiah, Ian, Aria, Urijah, Lyric, Estrella, Vivian, Jace, and Talia.
