LOMBARDI Saverio Richard, of Warwick, NY (formerly of Waldwick, NJ), passed away unexpectedly on December 9, 2009 at home. He was 77 years old.Born on September 11, 1932 in Newark, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Richard and Thelma (Miller) Lombardi.He was married to Judith Sieh Lombardi for over 53 years.Mr. Lombardi was the owner of Lombardi Plumbing & Heating, Waldwick, NJ. He belonged to the Master Plumbers Association. He was a former Captain of Macopin Fire Department, a Glen Rock fireman, and a Waldwick fireman. He was also a life member of Good Sam Club, member of Family Motor Coach Association, member of Twentieth Century Wagontrainers, Master Mason, member of the Silentia Masonic Lodge #168, Butler, NJ, 32nd Degree Mason, Saalam Temple Shriner, Livingston, NJ, an active member of Christ Church, Warwick, and a member of the Warwick Valley Country Club.He is survived by his wife, Judith, of Warwick; two daughters: Susan Tordoff and her husband Fred of Hewitt, NJ and Kim Sushko and her husband Kenneth of Hewitt, NJ; two grandsons: Kenny and Brandan; a sister, Barbara Biagi and her husband Joe of Glen Rock, NJ; a brother, Robert Lombardi and his wife Mary Lee of Torrence, CA; a goddaughter, Christine Kovochik; an uncle: Robert Lombardi; an aunt, Alma Charivallo; nephew, Richard Biagi and Terry; niece, Annette Zuker and Danny; niece, Roberta Lombardi and Jonny; great nieces and nephews, Richard, Jr., Matthew, Tyler, Alexis, Charlotte, Lily, and Michael; and numerous other relatives and friends.Visitation will be on Monday, December 14th, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Christ Episcopal Church, 50 South St., Warwick, NY. Funeral service will be at 11 AM on Tuesday at the church.
