Scott Boykin Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 6, 2019.
Scott Rogers Boykin entered this world January 16th 1971 and left it to be with his Heavenly Father on August 2nd 2019. He leaves behind his wife Cynthia, his two sons Jace and Jordan, and his four stepsons Morgan, Connor, Brendan, and Daniel who he loved as his own, and several furkids (dogs and cats). He is survived by sister Kelli and brother Ian as well as two loving sets of parents (Jim/Karen and Linda/Mel), countless extended family members and hundreds of friends and associates who loved him dearly. Scott was a kind, generous, caring and loving man who would do anything to help any person or animal that needed assistance. He worked most of his adult life as an HVAC technician and recently became involved in project sales at ABM Industries where he finally had the opportunity to grow and become excited in a career as he had always dreamed of doing. Scott enjoyed camping, the beach, animals, watching all of his children in their band concerts, their sports competitions and other activities. He was a die-hard Cardinals and Raiders fan and believed his purpose in life was to love and protect his family and to help others. There is not a soul who met Scott Boykin who did not love him. The world is a better place because of Scott having been in it and many hearts will be a little sadder without him.

Scott from the moment Mike and I met you and Cynthia we just loved you guys. I know we didn't see each other much... maybe once or twice maybe even three times a year yet you treated us like long time friends. Scott you were such a genuine person and just all around nice guy. Even when Mike rolled your ATV and broke a part on it that of course we fixed you were so cool about it. Lol. You were such a great dad not only to your own boys but also to Cynthia's as well. And the love you expressed for her was just amazing. You were a true role model of a family man. You will be greatly miss

His last words to me will resonate with me for as long as I'm alive..."Becky you are family & you can call me for anything. I'm always here to help." THAT is who Scott Boykin was.

I love you my sweet sweet husband. You were the best thing that ever happened to all of us and your absence is felt deeply. Thank you for all you did. Til we meet again... I love you always.
