I am so sorry for your loss and pain right now. I only knew Scott a few years but I considered him a great friend and a great person. I met him as a service advisor at Mike Kelly Kia. And after befriending him there I would always tell him about a funny story or two about my wife's quirks or misadventures or something from work that was funny. We hit it off because I was a service advisor at Jim Shorkey Ford for short while... I hated the job and quit soon after. But we were friends and we shared gripes about the software we used for advisor order entry. The first day I saw him I told him I was bringing a blonde staff car to get fixed. (my wife was always "the Queen" and she is blonde and all our cars are blonde staff cars and I just borrow them)... And then I told him the story of my wife insisting that an albino skunk was a possum and how it almost sprayed the brand new silverado when she drove right up to it so fast in the drive way trying to prove it was an opossum. The albino skunk was part of my wife's "fan club" of critters and creepy things... And after that basically every time I saw him I would bring him a laugh or a smile. And later on toward the end he seemed more over worked or whatever it was... I always tried to cheer him up and have a little something to say about him being a great guy and to not let things get to him so much. But I want to say he was the absolute best service advisor ever and a great person he always looked out for me and my wife when we got service work done. *always* no matter what- warranty work and everything else - Scott saw to it we were treated well. Always. He never failed us. And he always was a stand up guy for morals and values when it came to doing the right thing. And for that I am especially grateful. Losing him as an advisor & even worse as a friend is especially crushing and a huge loss as his personality was what made the wait at the shop so much fun. Him and Ashley the mechanic girl were a hoot every visit. I wish the family the best and my sincerest condolences to all the family and everyone who knew him. Getting service work done now will never ever be the same...
