Scott Enright Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Oct. 12, 2024.
Scott M. Enright, husband of Angela and son of Robert and Roberta Enright, passed away on August 23, 2024. As a 7th generation Californian, he lived in both San Jose and Los Angeles, bringing his Positive Mental Attitude (PMA) wherever he went.

After graduating from Bellarmine College Preparatory High School in San Jose, he made his way down to Los Angeles, graduating from Loyola Marymount University, where he made lifelong friendships and remained in the Los Angeles area.

While at LMU, Scott DJ'd at the college radio station, KXLU - his first entry into the music industry. He was an avid music fan, particularly DC hardcore, but also loved music across all genres. He later joined Interscope Records and Cherrytree Records, where he was able to combine his love of music with his love of travel, hitting almost every continent along the way.

A lifelong fan of the New England Patriots, he was elated to see them win the Super Bowl in person in 2015. He was also a devoted fan of LAFC, where he saw them win the MLS cup at BMO stadium in 2022.

Scott was an amazing soul. He was ever focused on family, friendships, and love. He passed away at UCLA Santa Monica Hospital after a year-long battle with angiosarcoma, an extremely rare cancer that required numerous blood transfusions, prompting him to urge everyone to donate blood.

He joined his mother Roberta in the next world, both of which can be described as follows: All who have had the pleasure of their company know that their quick wit and social panache were unparalleled. The outpouring of support from friends and family demonstrates how the well being of others was an integral part of their personalities.

He is survived by his loving wife Angela and his father, Robert as well as older brother, Drew and younger sister, Christine (Mark). He was also known as "funcle" to nine nieces and nephews on both sides of his family.

Scott's celebration of life will be held on October 26, 2024 at 1pm at Three Flames Restaurant 1547 Meridian Ave. San Jose, CA.

In addition to donating blood, please consider contributing to the LMU Memorial Scholarship in his honor: https://linktr.ee/angelavred
