First of all, Carol and I express our condolences to Lynn, on the loss of her beloved husband, to Erin, Zoey, and Arlo for their losing their loving Dad & Grandpa, and to Nancy, on the loss of her dear brother, and to all of Scott's family and friends who've lost someone cherished by all. Thanks, Scott, for being as upbeat as you could be during our visits the last couple of months.
With Scotts passing, all who knew him have lost a friend. For me, I've lost not just a friend, but my best and lifelong friend - a friendship that began when we were 10 years old in Garden City. 65 years is a long time, but wish it could have gone on longer - much longer. I have too many memories to list, and thats exactly what made for such a great friendship.
For all of us who knew you, Scott, our memories, tales, and stories about you will fill the gap left in our lives with you passing - filled many time over. As I had written to Lynn --- Tears for your passing, but many, many smiles for your life.
In our hearts forever. Love and Prayers, Dave and Carol

Scott had a life well-lived however he is gone too soon. I worked with Scott at Comstock High School. In order to support students with learning differences, I co-taught with him a few times in his Life Science class and had many contacts with him about students when I wasn't co-teaching. He was a really good teacher and had a knack for making the content relevant to them. I am so full of sorrow for his passing. Our world has lost a kind soul.

I remember Mr. Gardner from High School biology class. He was a great teacher and very personable. I caught up with him years later working at Marshall Music I believe. I wish he could have made it to 100, but he gave it a heck of a run! RIP
