He is survived by his wife, Wanda, daughter Melissa Davenport, son Scott Hamilton II and wife Heather, grandchildren Robert and Alexys Davenport, Zachary and Austin Hamilton, sisters Linda Emerson, Roxanne Paulsen, brothers Ross Hamilton and Robert (Roby) Hamilton as well as nieces and nephews and other family members and friends. Scott graduated from the University of California in Irvine, after serving 4 years in the USAF including an overseas tour at RAF Alconbury, England. Scott's career included 21 years with O'Reilly Auto Parts. Scott was also an Assistant Scout Master for 10 years with Boy Scout Troop 774 in Aliso Viejo, California and served five years with the Service Ministry at Central Christian Church in Glendale, Arizona. Scott was a loving, devoted and dedicated husband, father and grandfather. Private military service will be held at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, followed by a Life Celebration service at Central Christian Church at 12:00 pm on May 8, 2017 located at 8600 W. Glendale Avenue, Glendale, Arizona, officiated by Pastor Tom Kopp.

Scott, just wanted to say it was a pleasure working with you. You were a great co-worker and by how you spoke of your family I can tell you were a devoted father and husband. I can only hope to be as great of a father as you must have been. Rest In Paradise my friend.
