Scott Henry Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 11, 2024.
Scott Henry, 52, born in Cheyenne, Wyoming, unexpectedly passed away on February 8, 2024, in Greenville, South Carolina.
Scott was a Phoenix rising from the ashes. He could endure the hardest trials of life's testing, lose every worldly possession, experience heartaches and disappointments yet never give up.
For those who knew Scott, one could stand in awe of his resilience, having the ability to recreate himself and succeed when the odds were against him. Not a man with the most gentle personality, but he would give anything to help another in need.
Scott was famously known for his advice, "If you're going to be stupid, you better be tough." He embraced the what doesn't kill you makes you stronger way of life and did so without hesitation.
Scott was a Master Plumber by trade. He was a perfectionist and had an incredible work ethic. He was actively growing his business throughout the Greenville area.

Scott is survived by his wife, Cuiwei, his daughter, Jasmyne Henry, his father, Gene Henry, stepmother, Diana Henry, his mother, Donna Landes, stepfather, Jeff Larson and his sister, Lisa Scott along with stepbrothers, Matt Larson, Jeremy and James Waller. He was preceded in death by an adopted brother, Jesse Dillon, his grandfather, Clifford Henry, his grandmother, Leitha Morris, and his grandparents, Raymond and Mary Burnside.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Scott's honor.

Contributions can be made through Give/Send/Go for his wife, Cuiwei, to ease the burden of final expenses.

I just found out today... Scott and I met in business. I helped set up his vans with him. Yes, perfectionist is an understatement. I believe he tackled every obstacles with the same attitude for success! Always smiling, always cheered up up. I'll miss our pizza lunches together.

I just found out that Scott passed away when searching for him for another plumbing issue. I am shocked. I am so sorry, he was the most professional plumber that I have ever had the pleasure of working with. He never left a mess and was always available for emergencies. He was at my home when a dog attacked my kitten, and he even ran the dog off for me. I am glad to have known him. I am so so sorry.

I just recently found out that Scott had passed, and I was dumbstruck! He was one of the nicest, best people I´ve ever had the pleasure of meeting and `working´ with, I handed tools him occasionally while he hunkered low in the crawl space. He took on a major, messy, complicated plumbing job at my house and slogged through it all with fortitude, humor and did an excellent job all the while.
I´m so very sorry to his family, he´ll be missed by all who knew him.
