What a great loss to so many! Words can not describe the void I feel in my heart at this moment. I have so many fond memories of Scott Irwin....too many to list. I can still see him walking down the street to meet me one Saturday afternoon, wearing his burgundy jogging suit and running shoes with his buddy Festus trailing behind......priceless. I was so looking forward to seeing Scott at the 2010 class reunion and was willing to do almost anything to get him there; however, I still have the great memories. I will never forget Scott Irwin and the many fun times we shared when we were young. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

It is sad to hear of Scott's death, and how we won't see his smile again. My favorite thought of Scott is when my brother and Scott were talking in Mr. Acuff's class in highschool and Mr. Acuff thought it was Scott talking to me...so we were thrown out of class. It was my first time, but certainly not Scott's! We sat under a tree and talked about what we thought life as an adult might be like...and how many kids we wanted. My thoughts and prayers go out to Scott's family and children, may God cover you in peace and comfort in this time of great sadness.

I remember the fun times in Perkins High School.
Scott could not wait for me to get to class so he could call me a Yankee from the north! Rest in peace buddy, My thoughts and prayers for the family.

Just a note to say that is sad to lose an old friend from Perkins. We all get busy and hearing a name like Scott's reminds me of good times from when I grew up in Perkins. He always had a smile on his face and it makes me smile now to hear his name. He was a good friend even though I had not talked with him in a long time. We will miss you and God bless.
