LONGEVIN

Dr. Scott D. M.D., resident of Indian Hill born October 18 1958, died Sunday, June 30, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Traci Longevin, (nee; Faranda), loving father of Miles, and the devoted son of the late Frank and Jeanette Longevin. He leaves behind his brother Dr. Michael Longevin MD, his wife Chris, and their two children Grace and Isaac. Scott graduated from Denison University, received his MD degree from the Medical College of Ohio at Toledo and MBA from Xavier University. He was a practicing Emergency Room physician for 25 years. Director of the ER at Obleness Hospital in Athens, Ohio for Team Health Associates and on staff in the ER at the Veteran's Health Administration. Scott touched the lives of a great many people, both professionally and personally. He believed in hard work and helping out whenever and where ever he could. Dr. Longevin volunteered his time and skills to help many children in need of medical care in Belize. He was also the former medical director for the Milford Community Fire Department. His trademark smile, sense of humor, and compassionate spirit will always be remembered. He deeply loved his wife and son. Scott lived life to the fullest. He was passionate about adventure, traveling, and sailing. He was an avid bow-tie and clog wearer. He will truly be missed. Memorial service 10 AM Monday July 8, 2013 with a reception and gathering of family and friends immediately following, all at Armstrong Chapel United Methodist Church, 5125 Drake Road, Cincinnati, OH 45243. Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of contributions in memory of Dr. Scott Longevin to the Cincinnati Country Day School, 6905 Given Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45243.
