Scott E. Panther

Scott E. Panther, 39, of Moline, died Thursday, March 2, 2006, at his home.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Rock Island. Entombment will be in the Calvary Mausoleum, Rock Island. Visitation is 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the Wheelan Funeral Home, Rock Island, where a Christian wake service will be held at 5 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Jordan Catholic Schools, Rock Island.
Scott was born May 28, 1966, in Davenport, a son of Clifford P. and Sharon M. (Hempel) Panther. He graduated from Rock Island High School in 1985, and received his Associates Degree from Scott Community College.
Scott was a journeyman sheet metal worker. He was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers' International Association Local 91, Rock Island. He had worked for several contractors in the Quad-City Area.
He enjoyed playing golf.
Survivors include his parents, Clifford and Sharon, Rock Island; brothers, Jeffrey, Dalton, Ga., Barton, and his wife, Susan, Naperville, Ill., and Curtis, Crystal, Minn.; nephews, Joshua, Nathan, Nicholas and Alexander; a niece, Kathryn; his grandmother, Valeria Erwin, Davenport; and many special aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ervin and Mildred Panther, C.E. Hempel and Ray Erwin.
