Scott Stadie Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 3, 2006.
Scott S. Stadie Born September 9, 1955 in Tucson, AZ., passed away August 29, 2006 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. His family was at his side and he was able to say goodbyes at his passing. Scott was a lifelong resident of Tucson and graduated from Sahuaro High School in 1973. Scott enjoyed a long and successful career in Real Estate that spanned nearly 25 years. Most recently he was a Broker Associate and Sales Manager for Pepper Viner Homes. He was affiliated with the Tucson Association of Realtors and Southern Arizona Home Builders Association. He especially enjoyed the friendships and valued relationships he gained throughout the Real Estate community. Scott is survived by his wife, Ila; two sons, T.J. and Joey; daughter, Lisa Gray and his much adored grandchildren, Orion, Micah and Alexa; his father, Harry Stadie and mother, Gale Stadie; Scott's brothers, Mark and Robbie. Scott was an avid outdoorsman. From his black bear hunting trip in Alaska or fishing in the White Mountains with T.J. and Joey, opening day for dove hunting with his father at Red Rock and elk hunting "From the porch" in Alpine. He will be missed by all his friends for the "embellished" stories and adventures he created. While his passing saddens us, we will treasure his memories forever. At Scott's request, there will be no services or funeral. The family will have a private memorial in his honor at a future date. Donations may be made to Sunstone Cancer Support Foundation, 2454 N. Woodland Road, Tucson, AZ 85749.

Scott was one of the funniest men I knew he should have been in stand-up comedy clubs. He will be saddly missed yet is in the best company of family gone before him and can now be free of all pain or sickness. I know he will always watch over his precious family. Best wishes to his wife, children and extended family.
