We now meet in sacred spaces that do not conform to specific places nor limited by space or time only somewhere between infinity and our mind

I first met Scottie when Kayla lived in Oregon we met at a Chinese restaurant. She walked in with Scottie and they were both beaming their heart so full. It was clear two souls had found each other.

I'm so sorry to learn of Scott's passing. I am sending much loving, light, and prayers for peace to Kayla, Laura, and all of Scottie's loved ones. Scott was one of "our guys" and lived across the street from us throughout his time at Prescott College. He was such a joyful heart and good friend who helped us raise a yurt, learn about our local birds, and finish off a lot of good Mexican food. And some goat. I feel very blessed to have known Scott and been touched by his heart and vulnerability. I know that all of those who knew and loved him will carry that heart with them forever. Loving you, Scott. Scott had a huge heart. I had the joy of sharing a house with him at Prescott college. He was genuinely interested in learning more about what it means to be human. I remember his smile and laughter. He was a serious person a lot of the time, but had this undertone of a great knowing that allowed for him to have a sense of humor that was hilarious. When Scott laughed it was contagious and made me happier to be around him. I remember one spring break, borrowing a friends jeep and driving to Sedona to hang out by Oak Creek. We swam and lazed by the water and I can remember Scott glowing with life. He was a water person. He even bought and installed a water purification system for our college house. The water machine would sing a tune as it filled your glass. I am really going to miss Scott. Scott taught me to continue to ask the hard questions and to stay curious. I feel angry and sad and wish I could see him smile again. He is smiling in our hearts now. Love you Scott.

Christmas night 2023, after opening presents, and taking playful photos of them in the sheepskin hats I made them, I was reminded how much our 'presence', is the best 'present' of any holiday.
Kayla had always said Scotties view of life was similiar to mine, but it wasn't until those few late hours of discussion that I made the connection.
Kayla went to bed and Scottie and I continued talking about the journey of consciousness, being an active part of the Earths evolution, connected to all life forms. The difference between personal perception and cosmic perspective that influences ones awareness of the dimensions that exist between here...and there... The power, and plight, of our free will to navigate the world we emotionally experience, as we strive to evolve our story. It was a very special bonding and gives me some consolation in this time of grief, that Scottie may no longer be 'here', because now he is 'everywhere'.

Scottie was an awesome man, a great son, and a loving husband to Kayla who I knew he adored. I will miss him greatly. I remember when he was in about 6th grade and he asked me if I wanted to see the gaming computer he built. I knew he was a tech dude but was not prepared for what I was going to see. Stood there in amazement at what I was looking at. It was a desktop with a clear case with green antifreeze cycling through the computer. He explained that plus four fans were sufficient to keep it cool. He showed me a thermometer gauge on the side and it´s good... better than anything available on the retail market. He loved going to Phoenix, Catalina, and going on hikes. Really a special man and son.

Scott was a professional in his work. He was thorough and thoughtful, caring about the outcome as well as the people. I enjoyed working with Scott and I always learned something talking with him. His passing is a loss for everyone who knew him and even those who didn't. I'm glad I got to call him a friend.

Something I learned from Scottie is what makes Kayla feel loved. The care he took to ensure her safety in every sport. When she told me how well the hiking shoes he insisted she take to New Zealand (for what turned out to be a much more challenging trek) held up under water, over rocks and miles of tough terrain - I was so grateful for his guidance. Afterall what's expensive? when your well-being is at stake. thank you Scottie
The outdoor adventures Scottie and Kayla embraced like diving and kayaking require gear and prior planning that ensures happy memories . Thank you Scottie for making those memories special and life-enhancing. Kayla felt your love and it provided a foundation of self-love.

Just learned of Scott´s passing today. My condolences to his family & all who new him. I met Scottie as a roommate to our son, Noah in Prescott. Later, when he moved to Oregon he was a frequent visitor to our home and became my IT guy for my business. Smart, warm, funny and a good story teller-that was Scottie. He will be missed

In spring of 2015, early in Kayla and Scotty's romance, we took a hike in the Columbia River Gorge. It was a beautiful day, with beautiful views and wonderful conversation. The love that Scotty and Kayla shared just radiated and turned a great hike into a lifetime memory for me. Scotty, may you rest in peace. Kayla may you always cherish the special moments you had with Scotty.

I am terribly sorry for your loss. I have the best memories of Scottie and my kids playing countless hours growing up in Glencoe. He would be greatly missed.
