Sean Kyle Wolfe

Sept. 12, 1972 - Jan. 17, 2017 Sean Kyle Wolfe was a funny, charismatic, kind-hearted, and wickedly smart man who brought joy to every room into which he stepped. He was born to much fanfare on September 12, 1972, and passed on January 17, 2017, to the devastation of his family. Sean was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. Sean is survived by his son, Connor Wolfe of York, PA, a sister, KellyMarie Conlon of Atlanta, GA, a brother, Casey Wolfe, his parents Mary (Ray) Burns and Hugh Kyle Wolfe, Jr., and a niece, Presley Wolfe, all of Huntsville, AL, and many cousins, aunts, and uncles. Raised in Fredericksburg, VA, Sean graduated from Manheim Township High School in Lancaster, PA. He pursued a BFA at Tyler Art School of Temple University. He finished his BFA in painting, graduating Cum Laude, from Athens State University. He also earned an MSCE from ITT Tech, which became his career as a Certified Ethical Hacker and Cybersecurity Analyst. He would jam with his brother and sister at home making melodies and memories. His bands were Gunther Syndrome, Brom Bones, and Stiletto Boys, and his brother was the drummer in all of them. Successful in the punk rock scene, Sean's bands opened for Fugazi, Face to Face, The Fiendz, etc. Bringing his art to music, Sean designed hundreds of fliers for the local music scene and also did professional album covers for The Dwarves, Duff McKagan's Loaded, Supersuckers, G.G. Allin, Electric Frankenstein, etc. Sean had an infectious presence as a lead singer with near perfect pitch. It was the ideal combination of raw rock 'n' roll swagger, reckless wild abandon, and vulnerability. Sean's memorial service is Saturday, January 28th, 2017, at Berryhill Funeral Home, 2305 North Memorial Parkway, Huntsville, Alabama, 35810. The family will receive people from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The memorial service is 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. An Irish wake with will follow. All are welcome. Sean lost his battle with depression on January 17, 2017. Thus, in lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in memory of Sean Wolfe to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
