DUFOUR, Serge Roger
Passed away on March 30, 2014 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Lucille Thérèse Dufour (nee Frechette). Son of the late Marius and the late Gracia Dufour (nee Lévesque). Loving father of André, Roger (Donna), Renée (André Auger), Michelle (Gunnar Nordensson), Marc (Barbara Greenwood Dufour) and Richard (Joanne Mayne). Cherished grandfather of Phillip, Suzanne, Meara, Christopher, Alexander, Nathalie, Kelly, Vendela, Marcus and Jack. Dear brother of Gisèle Dion, Pierrette Desjardins, the late Marc, Ronald and the late Paul. He also leaves many nephews, nieces and friends. Family and friends may pay their respects on Thursday, April 3, 2014 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Racine, Robert & Gauthier (180 Montreal Road, Ottawa). Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 4, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Annunciation of the Lord Parish (2414 Ogilvie Road, Ottawa). In Memory of Mr. Dufour, donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society would be appreciated.

Sincere sympathies to all the Dufour family (and Jocko!). I was shocked last month when I saw Renee and Lucille at the Montfort to visit Serge. Individually you are strong people, together you will get through anything. You have done this before. Hope you'll recall some good times when our two families ended up on the same postings. From Washington, London or Brussels you know Serge had many happy and fun times.
