SEYMOUR SEILER Obituary

SEILER--Seymour A., of Palm City, FL, died December 10, 2013 at his son's home in New York City. He was 88 years old. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, he was a graduate of Erasmus Hall High School, received a BS in Engineering from City College and a JD from the University of Miami. He married Dolores June Levine in December 1953, and they lived in Liberty, NY before relocating to Florida in 1975. He had a successful career as a licensed architect and engineer designing private homes and hotels and developing shopping centers throughout the northeast. He had a second career as a lawyer in Florida along with his wife Dolores who attended law school with him. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sister Sylvia Bromberg of Hartford, CT, his daughter Karen and her husband Daniel Stone of Providence, RI and his son Eric and his wife Darcy Bradbury of New York City, and six grandchildren, Alexander, Joshua and Samuel Stone of Providence, RI and Brad, Benjamin and Eleanor Seiler of New York City. He is also survived by his in-laws, Ellen and David Brown of Tampa, FL and Leslie and Rebecca Levine of Sands Point, NY, and numerous nieces and nephews. Internment will be at a private service in Hurleyville, NY on December 12. Contributions may be made to the City College 21st Century Foundation, City College of New York, 160 Convent Avenue, SH 154, New York, NY 10031, with reference to the Seymour A. Seiler Undergraduate Research Fund.
