It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our cherished husband, father, son, brother and friend on February 27, 2015 at 39 years of age. Beloved husband and best friend of Darcie Renaud. Amazing father of Henry and Hazel (to be born in April). Devoted son and friend of William "Bill" and Margaret Knapp. Cherished brother of Lisa & Jamie Mills. Adored uncle of Ella and Leo Mills. Dear son- in-law of Carol & Gary Jones, and the late Christopher Renaud (2009). Loving brother- in-law of Stacey & Sue Renaud, and Danielle Renaud & Christopher Glover. He will be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Shane will be forever remembered for his wicked sense of humour and for his love and devotion to his family. It was evident in his smile and the pride shown in everything he did. If you so desire, donations to a trust fund for Henry & Hazel Knapp (cheques made payable to Darcie Renaud) or to the Canadian Red Cross would be appreciated by the family. Visiting Wednesday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at

My Condolences to all of you for losing your husband, daddy, son, brother, uncle and friend... I remember Shane, from where I worked at, Tecumseh Auto Spa. Everytime Shane walked in we would talk about what was going on at that time in his life. He used to skateboard with my brother Sam and he would always ask about my family. I remember one of the last times that I saw him he talked about Darcie and his newborn son. He had the happiest and proudest look on his face. When I heard the news on Friday I dropped to my knees and prayed for this precious family. I know that Shane loves you all, by just the look in his eyes. God Bless you all as you walk through this dark valley. Gone too soon. xo

I had the pleasure of knowing Shane in grade school and in high school. I remember he was always a character with a smirk on his face that appeared as if he was up to no good. He made us laugh a lot, but under it all had a heart of gold. I remember him introducing me to the Beastie Boys way back when..... Still love them today!! To his family; there are no words that can be said to heal your pain right now. My prayers go out to all of you. May you all find strength through your fond memories of him.
