Shannon Louise (Lehiy) Preston, age 67, passed away on Sept. 7, 2025

Shannon was born on June 9, 1958 to Carl & Frances (Roush) Lehiy. Shannon was raised by her maternal grandparents Enid (Rodgers) & Wayne Seider whom she lovingly called Mom and Dad.

Shannon is survived by her Fiance, Daniel Schible Sr.; Sons Eric (Tecka) Preston; Daniel (Sara) Preston; Daughter Adrienne Alvarado; Brothers John Schmoeger; Karl Lehiy; and Peter McCammon; Sisters Paula Smith; Pam-Ella (Dale) Harper; Grandchildren Andrea, Aaron, Alyssa, and Abraham Alvarado; James (Alexis) Reinholt; Dalton (Brooke) Reinholt; Eudokia Preston; Raven, Wren, and Daniel ll Preston. Her last words were about her 11 grandchildren whom she loved and was so proud of. She is also survived by a host of nephews, nieces and cousins including but not limited to Julie Miller, Brett (Mindy) Miller, Gayle Stark, Tasha Smith Jacqueline Mason, Joshua Mason, Joseph King, Noel King lll, Jade King, and Dontre Vaughn. Shannon is also survived by her sister-in-law Sue Preston and children.

Shannon was preceded in death by her grandparents; parents; sister Lois Grant; brothers Thomas and Brian Lehiy; grandson Alejandro Alvarado; and her dog Missy.

Shannon graduated from Oregon Davis High School and Ancilla College. She was an avid Notre Dame football fan-naming her dog Rudy. She was also a Nascar Fan- favorite driver was Justin Haley. She was also a member of several blogs, especially those addressing Sepsis. She loved bands such as AC/DC, John Legend and Hootie & the Blowfish. Shannon was a dear and loyal friend to all that knew her.
