Sharla Van Slooten Obituary
Sharla was a lifelong resident of Holland and a member of Central Wesleyan Church. She retired from J.C. Penney's after 15 years of service.
Preceding her in death was her sister, Isla; and 2 brothers, Jerry and Gordon.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jack; Children, Michele (Jack) Lynn, Kyle Sr. (Peggy) Van Slooten, and Lynette (Dan) Brown; 15 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; sister, Sheryl (Dale) Myaard; in-laws, Joyce Van Slooten, Peggy Sas, Stan (Kim) Van Slooten, and Betty (Ron) Sas; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be 3:00pm Monday, February 8, 2016 in the Chapel at Central Wesleyan Church, 446 W. 40th St., Holland. Officiating will be Rev. Lynn Bruce.
Visitation will be Monday, from 2:00pm until the time of the service at the church.

I will keep all of in my prayers as you go through this difficult time in your life. I remember all the fun times we had as we were growing up from the camping trips to the spring breaks spent at the Ponderosa, the many sunday dinners at our house or yours, and all the other fun stuff we shared, the laughter, the hair coloring events, the cook outs, my list could go on and on. Most of all I will never forget the kind and caring person your mother was and will always have a spot in my heart.
