News Death Notice

CARITO, Sharon L. (nee Bales) Was born on January 27, 1944, passed away on the Lord's Day, Sunday, September 15, 2013. Sharon married Thomas A. Carito on January 16, 1965; loving mother of Angela Carito (Jeff Kenworthy) and Kristie J. Carito. She is also survived by her mother Bonnie L. Thompson; her sister Dana K. Holtzclaw, and her brother Robert Bales. Sharon was a devoted Christian who enjoyed spending her time volunteering in the community. She volunteered for many years for the Fairfield Boosters as well as mentoring children in the Fairfield West reading program, and the Fairfield West Baptist Church after school learning program. Sharon also enjoyed baking cakes and treats for her many friends and family for their special occasions. Her bright smile, spirit, and laughter were contagious to all around her. She attended High St. Baptist and Fairfield West Baptist Church. A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. at Fairfield West Baptist Church, 5345 Muskopf Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Cincinnati, PO Box 633597, Cinti, OH 45263-3597, or The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 4370 Glendale Milford Rd., Cinti, OH 45242. Tom, Christy and Angie you all have my deepest sympathy for the loss of Sharon. She was a unique individual so full of life and fun. I am glad to have had the pleasure of knowing her. God bless you all as you learn to go on without her. Remember that she is in a better place now.

I still remember the last time she and I got together. We were at a family reunion in 1990, We played on the swings my crazy cousin and I. She was so much fun to be around. You could never be sad very long around Sharon,she always made you laugh! I love you Sharon and I know you are in heaven with my aunt Alice, Your granny I know they are up there laughing together!
