Sophronia Crossley Obituary
Burial will be in New York Cemetery.
Mrs. Crossley died Dec. 1, 2007.
She was born Jan. 14, 1908, near Okemah, Okla., to the late David and Mattie Hall Morrow. She lived in New York community for 60 years, then in Baxter, Athens and Tennessee Colony. She was a member of Tennessee Colony Union Church. She was preceded in death by husbands, William Thomas "B.A." Crossley and Dennis W. Sholars; granddaughter, Gail Crossley Spies; great-great-granddaughter, Olivia Hunt; four brothers; and four sisters.
Survivors include sons, William Thomas Crossley Jr., Shawnee, Okla., James Franklin Crossley, Waxahachie, Cleveland Hall "Buddy" Crossley, Round Rock, and Kenneth Crossley, Conroe; daughter, Ellon Lewis, Tennessee Colony; sister, Billie Pfeffer, Mesquite; 14 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers.
Family will receive friends 10 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
