Sharon Ledbetter

Sharon Elise Ledbetter passed away on May 10, 2025, in Chandler, Arizona, at the age of 74.

Born on January 1, 1951, in Atlanta, Georgia, Sharon began her life in the heart of the South. Over the years, she built a life marked by quiet strength and enduring presence. Her journey took her from Georgia to Arizona, where she spent her later years.

Those who knew Sharon will remember her with respect and affection. Her life touched many in ways both seen and unseen, and her memory will remain with those whose lives intersected with hers.

She is remembered with love by her niece Judith "Judy" Miniatis of Chandler, AZ; niece Heather McDuffie (Craig) of Fayetteville, GA; nephew Wade Dorminy (Carolyn) of Jonesboro, GA; sisters Sheila Ledbetter-Parsons (Robert) and Judy Ledbetter (Terrell-deceased) of Stockbridge, GA; friend Shawna Reid of Phoenix, AZ; great-nieces and nephews Annaleia "Leia" Miniatis, Ashlyn Toney Diaz (Michael), Leland Toney (Shelby), Nikolas Toney, Alek Miniatis, Eva Rose Dorminy, Will Dorminy, Harry Dorminy; and great-great-niece Maddy Diaz.

She was preceded in death by her Partner of 30 years, Bill Moore of Tucker, GA; Mother, Avis Faye Gaines of Conley, GA; Father, Jack Lawhon; Sister, Joann Dorminy and Brother-in-law, Billy W. Dorminy of Morrow, GA.

May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her. A Memorial Service will be held on August 23, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Mission del Sol Presbyterian Church 1565 E Warner Rd, Tempe, AZ 85284.
