Sharon Elizabeth Mock

Sharon Elizabeth Mock, 77, of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, peacefully entered into rest on January 28, 2024. Born on October 28, 1946, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, Sharon was a beautiful person, embodying grace and kindness throughout her life.

She was the cherished wife of Richard Mock, with whom she shared a blessed and loving marriage of almost 58 years. Together, they built a family that would be her greatest pride and joy.

Sharon enjoyed spending time with her family and treasured friends, painting, traveling, and she never turned down the chance to beat us all at a game of cards. She loved all living things, in particularly, her dogs.

Dedicated and hardworking, Sharon's professional life was spent working at the family businesses, American Heritage Bank, and Energy One Credit Union, where she retired from in 2014.

Sharon is lovingly survived by her family: her husband, Richard Mock; her son, Noel Mock and wife Dulcy; her daughter, Jennifer Anderson and fiance Alex Garcia; her grandchildren, McKel Moyer and husband Nathan, McKinzie Lay and husband Levi, Mason Mock, and Georgia Anderson; nine great grandchildren; her sister, Dolores Rucquoy; her brother, Buzz Henson and wife Lena, and her dog Tazzy.

She was predeceased by her parents, Mel and Virginia Henson, who instilled in her the values of love and family that she so fiercely embraced.

A service to honor Sharon's memory will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at the New Hope Baptist Church at 2956 State Hwy 48 in Mannford, Oklahoma at 11:00am. Friends, family, and those whose lives were touched by Sharon are welcome to join in celebrating a life well-lived.

Sharon's bright smile and warm, welcoming way of living have left an unforgettable mark on those who knew her. Her memory will be treasured in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
