Sharon Schank Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 1, 2025.
Sharon Lou Schank, 78, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, April 6, 2025, in Marysville, Washington.

Born on January 20, 1947, in Los Banos, California, to Glenn and Juanita (Nita) Dale. The family later moved to Marysville, where Sharon graduated from Marysville Pilchuck High School in 1964.

Sharon built a long and successful career with the Boeing Company where after many years of service she retired in 2006. Sharon was an active member of the Marysville Moose Lodge for many years, forming many lasting friendships.

Family was at the heart of Sharon's life. Her son's Ryan and Curtis and granddaughter Janelle were the center of her world. Sharon was preceded in death by her husband Randal (Randy), parents Glenn and Juanita Dale, and sons Ryan and Curtis Schank.

Sharon is survived by her cherished granddaughter Janelle; brothers Dennis (Jane) and Gary (Sundy); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Known for her quick wit and fierce loyalty to family and friends, Sharon brought warmth and humor into every room. Her passion for Elvis Presley was well known among those close to her.

For 57 years, Sharon shared a special bond with the Runyon family-neighbors who became like extended family through decades of friendship and support.

At Sharon's request, there will be no service. Those wishing to honor her memory may consider a donation to the Washington State Firefighters' Association in Sharon's name.
