Sharron Beals

Sharron Beals, 77, a resident of Mansfield for the past 30 years, died Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at her home under the care of her family. She was the beloved wife of Robert Beals, to whom she was married for over thirty years. Born in San Diego, California and a graduate of San Diego State University, Sharron served as Executive Director for the Seneca County Commission on Aging in Tiffin, Ohio before making her way to the East Coast to attend the Harvard Kennedy School, where she obtained a Masters in Public Administration. She was a passionate and dedicated advocate for children and seniors, as reflected by her service at Beechwood on the Bay Community Life Center in Quincy, a non-profit she led as Executive Director for 18 years. Those who knew Sharron will forever remember her as being full-of-life, love, creativity, humor, and strength and never at a loss for words. She loved doing for others and finding occasions, ways, and things to celebrate every day of her life. In addition to her husband, Robert, Sharron is survived by her sister, children and grandchildren who will miss her dearly: Evelyn and Bruce Anderson of Winchester, Calif.; Jay and Melissa Nohr of Marietta, Ga. and their children Dillon, Nathan, Jacob, and Olivia; Stacy and Gus Johnson of Marietta, Ga. and their children Cole and Ava; Charles and Cindy Beals of Santa Clarita, Calif. and their son Eric; as well as John and Sharon Beals of Easton, Mass. and their daughters Sarah and Emily. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours at the Bolea-Amici Funeral Home, 115 North Main Street, Mansfield from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 22.
