Sharron Selby Obituary
Sharron was born in Bessemer, AL but lived most of her life in Augusta, GA, and Little Switzerland, NC. She was an artist whose output was broad and varied throughout many mediums.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons: Lyle Shaw (Amber Richards) and Travis Shaw (Angela); stepchildren: Ed Selby, III (Talisa), David Selby (Katrina), Bryan Selby (Deanna), and Leigh Savage (Danny); grandchildren: Caeden, Thomas, Liam, Savannah Leigh, Madison, Alexandria, Logan, and Quinn; brothers: Tony (Julie), Darrell (Tammie Ashmore), Dwayne, and Allen (Denise) Vaughn; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held Saturday, February 18, 2023, at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church with Pastor Ed Rees officiating.

It was a joy to have known Sharron for a couple of years through Bible Study Fellowship. She was a dear person. I was saddened to read of her passing just today but know she´s enjoying being in the presence of Our Saviour and Lord. My condolences to the family.

Sharon was in my life for a reason. I had been a stay at home mom and entered the work force after ten years. Sharon brought me up to date at E-Z GO. It was a joy to have known her. I lost contact when she left. I was saddened t hear this. Prayers for her family.

You were the prettiest girl at Butler High School (BHS 69-71). You and I always had a special bond, even when we weren´t in contact for long periods of time. What a strong, beautiful, artistic & spiritual inspiration you have been to me and others for years. And so many memories of the good times in the 70´s. Barry and I bid you farewell, Sharron.

Sharron was so beautiful when we were growing up on Wilkerson Circle. I haven't seen Sharon since her Mom died many many years ago. I know Tony, Daryl, Dwayne and Allen will miss your big sister.
