I wasn't able to read or write anything in your guest book because the pain of losing you is unbearable...I stumbled onto this page tonight by accident and it tore my heart out. Until this great loss, I never knew one person could leave such a void. I hate that you were forced to fight for your life before it ever really began...I will forever wish it had of been me. I couldn't have loved you more if I had tried...me without you will never feel right. Shaunie I'm going to love you forever and I missed you before you even left. It's odd for me to struggle while trying to find the words to express how I feel, but I find myself stumbling here. I've probably re-typed this same paragraph 35 times. I met Shaun when we worked in Hull together. I believe we worked together there for close to 3 years. Through all the craziness we went through, never did I have to wonder if Shaun had my back, EVER. He was a stand up guy that would fight for what he believed in. Beneath his tough exterior, he was kind, generous friend. The winter jacket I wear to this day, Shaun gave me because mine got torn-up by Police at work. I offered to pay him for it, and he wouldn't take my money. That's the type of guy he was, just ask anyone that was fortunate enough to have known him. To anyone reading this, I considered Shaun my brother, and to me there is no greater respect. To Lia and Trish, even though only time can make the pain seem tollerable, please know that if I was as strong as either of you, I would gladly take some of your hurt away, if only for a couple of moments. I can't express how I feel any better than that. If I can help you guys in any way at all, please let me know.
