May 19, 1968 - April 2, 2012
Shauna Rose Lemaire, beloved wife of Dave Lemaire, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Monday, April 2, 2012 at the age of 43 years. Shauna struggled and fought as hard as she could against Multiple Sclerosis for the last eighteen years. The struggle was not easy, but she never complained, took everyday as a new one and was thankful for everyday she could experience. With all she endured, she always kept a good spirit. She was born in Calgary and lived in Delacour, AB, attending schools in Conrich and Chestermere. She graduated from SAIT as a Dental Assistant and worked in Calgary, until the MS took over her life. Shauna loved animals especially her little pal and guardian Rusty, her music and her family. Shauna is survived by Dave the love of her life who was the most loyal and caring husband of twenty years. Through thick and thin he was by her side with his wonderful caring and always humorous ways. She is also survived by her mother Rose; father Jim; brother Jamie (Alana); and niece Alexis; as well as Dave's parents Norma and Victor; Dave's brothers, Clint (Triva), Cheyeane and Spencer; Dave's sisters, Rosanne (Dave) Christian, Sonia (George) Tyson, Nathan and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and second cousins. As well as her special friend Lisa, her cousin Bevy and Elliot who were by her side all the way. Shauna was predeceased by her grandparents, Jessie and Bob, and Alfred and Meta; cousin Ronnie; auntie Marlene and Uncle Johnnie. We will miss the hugs and kisses, but are at peace knowing where you are now. A Celebration of Shauna's Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com .
