Shawn Robert Boyer

RACINE - Shawn Boyer, 46, passed away peacefully at his residence Wednesday, October 26, 2016. He is now at peace without pain in his final home with his Lord and Savior. Shawn was born in Rockford, IL December 13, 1969. He is the son of Mary Kay (Malmberg) Kanyuh and Robert Boyer. Shawn was kind, giving, and helped others whenever he could. He loved all types of people, especially his papa (maternal grandfather) dearly. He was an animal lover; dogs, dolphins, and ferrets being his favorites. Shawn was an old soul. He was very patriotic, a jack of all trades, he loved cooking, the outdoors, decorating for holidays, listening to music, and astronomy. He was on the diving team in high school and a great artist which led him to attend The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Shawn worked at Hansen Storage, UTI, UNFI among others. Shawn is survived by his parents, siblings, his daughter, Kaylen Boyer 21, his son, Alec Boyer 14, many relatives and friends, and his loving Golden Retriever, Goldee Locks Boyer 9.
