Dear Tom and Ann,
I am sadden to hear of Shawn's passing. Though I have not seen him in over twenty years, I will always fondly remember his great smile and the fun times we had as young boys. Shawn was a grade older than me but he was a great friend to have as I spent much time at your house in daycare. He introduce me to baseball cards and gave me my very first one even though I had nothing to trade for it. And I will never forget sleeping over and staying up late to watch the Twins game on TV or going to the rec center to ice skate or playing at the gym. One of my favorite memories is the time he came to Valley Fair with my family and he went on his first big roller coaster ride. At first he was very afraid but after he went one time, we couldn't get him to stop getting back in line to go again and again. We probably rode that coaster ten times in a row before it was finally time to go home.
From reading the other entries here, it sounds like he continued to touch the lives of many other people. I am praying for your family. God bless.
