Be Still
Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.
Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.
If you are still another promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

Even through death, Shawn will always be remembered. At this time of sorrow, I was reunited with an old friend from high school, after 12 years. Know that your family is in my thoughts and prayers, and you can take comfort in knowing Shawn is "at home" watching over you.

From the first day that we met I know you were the one for me. Your smile, your laugh, the way you looked at me. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me. Words can not express how I even feel. I love you with all my heart. All I have now is 10 great years of memories. God has a new angel in heaven. Rest in peace.
All my love,
Merrilyn

I met Shawn at band camp in 1986 and for the next 5 years we became like brothers. Will never forget fun times at camp, band trips, shooting pool, trip to DC with George and Danny and spending more time in that basement than I did my own home. Sadly I regret not keeping in touch over the years, but my memories I'll have forever.
God Bless.

Dearest Marty, I just want you to know your in our thoughts and prayers. I don't know what to say to you there are no words that can explain my feelings on your Loss. I do know that God knows what He's doing so all will be OKAY! I think of Mary so many times and wonder how she got through watching her only Son die for all of our sins. How thankful I am He died so Shawn can really experience TRUE LIFE as it should be. What a GREAT DAY when we're all reunited with our Family and Friends. God Bless You all on your Loss. Your Friend Lorna

Marty,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and Merrilyn at this time. I am fortunate to have many memories and pictures of Shawn at my house with Kathleen during high school and their first year of college. He was so good to Danny and often would bring him to our house. I will never forget them. May God give us all the strength to keep going in this tragic time.

Merrilyn, our family was deeply saddened to hear of the tragic loss of your husband. We will keep you and your family in our prayers. You have always been so great to work with at the bank and one of the reasons we continue to do our banking at First National. As you walk through this difficult time remember you are not alone and are loved by many. Be good to yourself and reach out when you need others.

Shawn was one of the "Good Ole Boys". He always had a story to tell that would bring a good laugh, and helped pass the time while we were waiting for our freight to get ready at the terminals. He touched many lives in the driver family at PJAX with his good nature, and I feel the loss of one of our own.

My deepest sympathy to the Keast family. I had the pleasure of working with Shawn at PJFS in Freedom, PA for about a year. Shawn was always a great guy to be around at work, and always had time to listen to anything I said to him dealing with work and life in general. He even offered to take my young son for a ride in his truck if we had the chance to do so. Sadly Shawn persued other career interest before I brought my son back to PJFS.
Rest In Peace, Shawn.

Shawn was a friend I met in 1999 while driving for AIM in Bridgeville. When I left AIM I caught up with Shawn at PJ's. shortly after I started at pjax, Shawn was there too. I left pjax in march 2004 and I have been looking out for him to see if he wanted to work with me again for the fourth time, but I could not find him. Unfortunatly, I know where he is now. I am sorry to here this happen to a person who loved doing what he did. I will miss the friendship we had at work knowing that I can't have the moments back only memories. Rest in peace.
