Shawn Robert Miller

Shawn Robert Miller, 54, passed away unexpectedly on April 21, 2022. Shawn was preceded in death by his father Larry and is survived by his mother Judy, brother Stephen, daughter Rainey, fianc? Tina and her son Joseph.
Shawn was born in Seattle, raised in Shoreline, WA and was a 1985 graduate of Shorewood High School. Shawn had a passion for racing dwarf cars in his 20's. He was also an entrepreneur- owning and operating his own security company & almost became a Seattle Police Officer. He spent a majority of his career in the automotive industry. He also enjoyed spending time hunting, fishing, boating, camping, attending dirt cup at the Skagit Speedway, NASCAR, gardening and traveling. Other interests included archeology, Egyptology, watching the history channel, sci-fi, Expedition Bigfoot, Jeopardy and old re-runs such as Emergency & Adam 12.
Shawn was a man of integrity, strength, resilience and determination. He was a two-time cancer survivor who also suffered three strokes, three heart attacks and was in stage 4 renal failure. Despite undergoing dialysis three times a week, he was always upbeat, full of hope and grateful for the simplest things life had to offer.
He was a practical joker with a heart of gold, a gentle laugh and a smile that could light up a room. Shawn was also known for growing the best tomatoes, biggest pumpkins and spectacular sunflowers. He was truly one of a kind. Shawn will never be forgotten but forever remembered and missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him, love him and call him family and/or a friend.
