Shawn Sargent Obituary
Shawn was born October 11, 1970. He is survived by his two beautiful daughters, Nyki & Sage, their mother and friend, Paula. Parents, Jack & Barbara Sargent of Oakley; brothers: Stewart (Chandra), Coalville; Brian (Krista) Hoytsville, David (Clara) Kamas; Steven (Staci) Woodland, Paul (Ruby), Peoa; Jeffrey (Rashelle) Oakley; Sisters: Angela (Mike) Cummings, Kamas; Marya (Chad) Wright, Chalk Creek; Lezlee (Mark) Goronson, Las Vegas, NV; and Sister-in-law, Martha Sargent Stembridge, Peoa; and his "little buddies" 40 nephews and nieces, and 13 great nephews and nieces.
Funeral service will be on Saturday at 12 noon in the Kamas LDS Stake Center, 3038 SR32 in Marion, Utah.
Friends may call at the church on Friday evening from 6 to 8 pm and on Saturday one hour prior to the service.

I was absolutely horrified to hear of Shawn's passing. Unfortunately, it has been so many years....but, I remember how joyful and comfortable he always made me feel.
I am so sorry for the pain you are going through.

Dear Sargent Family,
We were so sorry to hear about Shawn's passing. He was a good friend and we were always so glad to have him in our home. Shawn was always happy and positive and full of life. Our daughters loved him, too and he was always so cute to them. He was always anxious to help and had such a great attitude.

I believe it was a Booker Washington quote that says success is measured by the obstacles one overcomes in life. By that measure you are also one of the most successful families I have ever known as well. I am truly sorry for your loss and my prayers are with you. I was so very saddened when I learned of the news of Shawn's passing. He was one of the coolest, funnest and most handsome guys I have ever met. We worked together for many years at Potomac Corporation . . . taking care of the Olebeane (Bud Ozmun). Shawns Family,
Shawn was such a good person in his heart he would do anything for anyone. He had his struggles, but when him and I would talk about his dreams in life his eyes would shine and he would just laugh and say maybe someday! To me his someday has come.
