Evan, Susan, Heyward, and Kacie,
I am still reeling from the tragedy with Sheldon. Angela Andrews and I are best friends and my children and I were always over at her house on Bagpipe Circle. So, I remember Sheldon and Evan growing up. My favorite memory is when Nick and Sheldon had been in the back woods shooting bebe guns. Some lady called the Game Warden on them and he was patrolling at the woods when I arrived. Nick ran and Sheldon climbed a tree waiting for him to leave. However, I got out and talked to the officer and called the boys and they came to me. I claimed them as my own and took sole responsibility. Of course, I defended them. The officers put them in my care and left. I think they were both scared out of their wits. I know that they thought they were going to jail! I know that words really cannot express anything compared to your hurt and anguish. I know, I have been in your place with my father. Time doesn't heal you, it just stops the memory from hurting so badly. Your entire family is in my thoughts and prayers.
In His Love, Jan
