Shelley genuinely loved others. She was always asking about my family and our kids and wanting updates on everyone. She encouraged me and loved me through a year of watching my dad battle cancer. She offered hope and love and cried with me when my dad passed away. We have always shared a love of volleyball and she was who checked my rec pass for club volleyball practices when I was 12-17 yrs old. She always had a smile and made me feel special!! She taught me each day was a gift and to love big and love others as Christ loves them. I learned so much from Shelley and had so much more to learn from her...her life is one I will always try to pattern and keep loving and learning and running!! Never stop, be courageous and caring!! We love you Jeff, and your boys. We pray for peace and hope through these challenging times. I know Shelley will be close and continue to cheer and encourage and send her smiles! We are praying mighty prayers for you and your family! We all are forever changed for the better because of Shelley! Love you always Shelley

The way she fought cancer with with dignity and emotionally supported others fighting cancer. We had breast cancer during the same time and we shared lots of fears and stories of faith and got through the diagnosis and fought together along with many others. We were involved in many Cancer Society engagements. Shelley is a beautiful person and soul and was very involved with her sons and their sports. She spent many nights watching her kids play football and other sports and was a main stay at Logan Rec center until her retirement. We love you and your family!

Shelly was a wonderful friend to all. This amazing lady lady could light up any area you happened to see her in. She always had a smile, a hug, a kind thought and added a lift in your day. I worked by her in the Rec Center for many years and saw her spread her magic to all. She will be greatly missed for she has done so much good to this world. I ache for her family through this tragic event. It is not an easy journey through grief, but in time may God help you to feel his comfort and love. May the joy of having Shelly in your life be able to mix with the ache you feel now and eventually bring you peace. Keep your eyes and heart on eternal families. Deepest sympathy and love to you.
