Sorry to hear the sad news. My brothers and I went to school with Shelly, and have fond memories of school days and weekends spent together. She will be missed.

To the Phillips family; Although I had lost touch with Shelley, I always think about her on her birthday.....and around the first of the year. Was just looking online to see if her address was the same to send a card and I am stunned to see she has passed away. My deepest condolences to you all. Shelley and I were young children when our fathers attended Pacific University. Shelley and I attended Canadian Union College during high school and later were on the same floor at Walla Walla College. Shelley was the hardest working student that I know. She poured her heart and soul into her studies and her dreams. What a loss. Joy Haynes Hurst

Dearest Ora-Lee and Correna,
I am so sorry to hear that Shelley has moved on. She was a great inspiration for us girls, and I always admired her tenacity and sense of humour and how smart she was. She had a wonderful sense of style too. Her encouragement helped make my university experience a better one. Many hugs to you two and your Mom and the rest of your family.

Very sad to hear of Shelley's passing. We were classmates for many years and she truly was a great, fun person.

Shelley was a wonderful friend and a very accomplished person. She was both kind and generous. My children loved her and remember her sweetness with them. My mother also remembers Shelley as beautiful and loving. We will all miss you very much.

I had the privilege of hiring Shelly to practice at Howard Mackie. She was both a wonderful person and a
wonderful lawyer, always pleasant to work with.
Her passing is sad, but she has gone to a better place.
