Shelley Ann Pope
1949 ~ 2016
Our loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend Shelley Ann Pope, passed away November 6, 2016 in South Jordan, Utah. She was born to Charles F. Johnson and Grace L. York on April 14, 1949 in Payson, Utah.
Shelley was a vivacious red head full of life and happiness who loved everyone especially her kids and grandkids. She was nicknamed "The Pink Lady". Shelley was taken away by early onset Alzheimers. She fought bravely and never complained. She was a hair stylist, seamstress, loved crafting, homemaking, decorating, artsy things and shopping! Shelley will be sorely missed.
Shelley is survived by her husband Steven Pope, children; Travis, Rebecca, and Megan Pratt and sister Nikki Harris. She is preceded in death by her brother and infant son Jonathan.

Do Not Stand At My Grave And Weep

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glint on snow.

I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you wake in the morning hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush

Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.

Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die!
