Sherman "Tiny" Lawrence Wilkinson, Jr. entered into heaven on Tuesday, May 17, 2011, with his loving family at his side. He is survived by his devoted wife Mary Lasome Wilkinson of 33 years. Loving father of Brandi W. Ciolino (Brad) and Jenni Wilkinson. Proud grandfather of 2 dogs, Fizzgig and Freya. Son of the late Marian Doize Wilkinson and Sherman L. Wilkinson, Sr. Brother of David J. Wilkinson (Jan), Mark A. Wilkinson (Cindy) and aunt Loise D. Adams (Jim). Sherman was also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. All who will miss him greatly.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, on Monday, May 23, 2011 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be from 9:30 am until funeral time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his memory to Christ the King Lutheran Church, 1001 W. Esplanade, Kenner, LA, 70062 and/or Canon Hospice, 1221 S. Clearview Pkwy. Jefferson, LA 70121.
