SHERRI NELL McNEIL STRONG, 53 OAK GROVE, LOUISIANA Cox Funeral Home Oak Grove, Louisiana OAK GROVE, LA - Funeral services for Sherri Nell McNeil Strong, age 53 of Oak Grove, Louisiana, will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at First Church of God, 210 South Briggs Street, in Oak Grove, Louisiana. Reverends Kelly Coleman and Lance Nugent will officiate. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Oak Grove. Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove. The family will receive friends between the hours of 5 to 9 PM on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Cox Funeral Home in Oak Grove. Sherri is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Charlie Jo Wainwright. Sherri is survived by her husband, Chuck Strong of Oak Grove, Louisiana; her father and mother, Billy Joe McNeil and Marjorie Nell Hemphill McNeil of Oak Grove; son, Corey Strong of Oak Grove; daughter and son-in-law, Kristin and Daniel Wainwright of Downsville, Louisiana; grandson, Slade Bolden of West Monroe, Louisiana; grandson, Colt Wainwright of Downsville; granddaughter, Harliegh Wainwright of Downsville; sister, Tammy McNeil of Oak Grove; brother, Joe McNeil of Oak Grove; brother and sister-in-law, Craig and Beth McNeil of Oak Grove; sister and brother-in-law, Mechelle and Brad Terral of Delhi, Louisiana; father & mother-in-law, Douglas "Coon" & Mary Strong of Oak Grove; sister-in-law, Kelly Vining of Monroe, Louisiana and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are: Corey Strong, Cole McNeil, Ben McNeil, Hoyt McNeil, Bo Terral, Hunter Terral, Sam Terral and Zack Vining.
