Sherrie Reid Shearwood, 86, passed away January 8, 2025 at her residence in Washington Terrace, Utah surrounded by her children and family. She was born on November 2, 1938 in Tyhee, Idaho to Ronald Earl Reid and Hannah Rose Croshaw. She married Donald E. Ganske on June 28, 1957.Donald passed away, she later married Keith Cates "KC" Shearwood on Sept 23, 1976 whom also passed away July 14, 2014.



Sherrie was a master seamstress and could make or repair any piece of clothing. She loved farming and was also a great cook. She held many homemaking and Relief Society positions associated with the LDS Church.



She is survived by her children Rocky (Cathy) Ganske, of Villages, FL; Tracy (Sharon) Ganske, of Willard, UT; and Shani (Monty) Mortenson, of Morgan, UT. She is also survived by her brothers Joel (Lindy) Reid, Brent (Pati) Reid, and 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Paul Reid, and sister ReNae Bolson.



Funeral services will be held Saturday January 18, 2024, at 12:00 noon at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East in Preston, Idaho. A viewing will be held Saturday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Oxford, Idaho cemetery. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at webbmortuary.com
