Ms. Sherry Collins

Sherry Collins, 47 of Beckley formerly of Mullensville, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Bowers Hospice House, Beckley. Born October 2, 1966 at Mullens, she was the daughter of the late Robert Earl Allen, Sr. and Sharon K. Johnson Allen of Beckley In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Powell and Helen Allen; Sam and Ida Johnson, and her ex-husband, Lemuel Roosevelt Lester, Sr. She is survived by her mother, Sharon K. Allen A son, Lemuel Roosevelt Lester, Jr. A step-daughter, Kara Lester A brother, Robert Earl Allen, Jr. and his companion, Freda Lane Nephews, Jimmy Dean Mullens, Dakota Wade Allen, Austin Earl Allen Niece, Ashley Kay Allen She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins Three special friends, Vicki and Lisa Hatten and Kathy Loving Her husband, Charles Collins Rev. Bill Rose officiating. It was Sherry's wishes to be cremated after the services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Calfee Funeral Service, Box 452, Pineville, WV 24874 to help offset the funeral cost.
